Hershey was our Brindle Stud!He is Daddy to Our Females, Cocoa and Ginger (from two different litter he produced with Ami. He's been rehomed to a young lady always wanting a Shih Tzu. We were so happy to have him from when he was a pup, to Breed him four times. We have a city ordinance of four dog limit and have met that, so we are blessed to have given him to someone else to love!

Meet Alamo's Family and see his AKC Pedegree listing these ancestors in first album to your right under recent photos:

Alamo We chose him for his colors, his pedegree, and his size.  We love our healthy weight on our Shih Tzus and never intend to breed them down to smaller dogs even when we had the smaller 9.6lb Cashew. Please review this very important link about the health hazards of breeding the Shih Tzu down to much smaller sizes:

THE FACTS ABOUT “IMPERIAL”
OR “TEACUP” SHIH TZU

The words “imperial” and “tiny teacup” are sometimes used interchangeably to describe undersized Shih Tzu. In fact, the terms “imperial” or “tiny teacup” should be regarded as what they really are….A MYTH often used by unethical breeders to create a market for dogs that do not conform to the breed standard. These tiny dogs are NOT what the Shih Tzu has been since it was developed as a distinctive breed in China ’s imperial palace, nor what it ought to be.

Alamo is a solid built boy that produced beautiful puppies with Ginger January 16, 2012. We also bred him in to our Cocoa. Prior to our aquiring Alamo..he produced puppies that grew between 9-11 lbs at adulthood...and was owned by one Breeder. We will miss Cashew (below), our past AKC Liver (creme) leaves for Oklahoma October 2,2011, also known as Robins Nutty Professor comes from Michigan and his family is from the Rocky Hill and Glory Ridge Line. He has a Champion Bloodline. He weighs about 9.6 lbs and has successfully sired, breeding with AKC Shih Tzus weighing 6 lbs and up. We bred him to our 8 1/2 lb Liver female, Cocoa in 2010. Together they produced a liter of 6 her first breeding. Then he bred with Ginger 10LBs 15oz, finally we bred him one more time to Cocoa a year later who is now 11Lbs..he's ready for smaller gals, so we rehomed him to a wonderful family with a smaller girl. His tempe

We are so blessed to keep one of Cashew's daughters (from Nov. 25,2011 Cocoa's litter) so we can enjoy her and later breed her to Alamo when she is about 2yrs. See her photo on our Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/AkcLiverBrownShihTzuPuppies

GINGER and ALAMO: Their Litter came Jan. 16, 2012 . This is her second litter, but a first of All Boys! And our first with our new Stud, Alamo (Proven with past Breeder who raised him)..We love boys!Scroll down to meet their daddy, Dk Chocolate Liver, Alamo! Alamo typically produces 3 girls for every 2 boys that grow to aprox. 9-11lbs in adulthood (AKC standard is 9-16lbs)..Ginger and Cocoa are both 11 lbs sisiers from different litter.but the same parents so genes are the same.Expect similar puppies to Gingers Jan 2012 litter in Cocoas August 2012 litter.

COCOA:AKC Liver (Liver on Liver..fading gene is present) bred with non Fading "Alamo" produces mostly Dark Chocolate Puppies be cause Alamo's genes are dominate. Cocoa previously bred with AKC Liver Cashew (Creme..lighter fur) shown below her and can see their puppies with colored backgrounds.

AKC Liver (Our Previous Stud) : Cashew (Aka: Robbins Nutty Professor..yes, that's why we called him Cashew!)

(Creme Fur, but still called "Liver" by AKC based on Liver Brown Pigment )

Daddy of Cocoa's Nov.25 litter (left) and our previous 3 litters, photos found in photo gallery

Cashew is in Oklahoma now and he has Sired his last litter with Cocoa..we are keeping Zoey, Cashew and Cocoa's Daughter, to breed to Alamo at 18m-2yrs when she is ready.

Hershey is Cocoa and Ginger's Sire..a carrier of the Liver gene..Bred with Ami..about half their pups were Liver

A Liver bred with a Liver produces 100% Liver Puppies
